The One Ingredient in the Holiday Bar With No Nutrition Facts
A few drops of orange extract is all it takes to add real citrus brightness against all that warm spice. There's so little of it per bar that there's genuinely nothing meaningful to put in a nutrition table - it's flavor, full stop.
What matters more here is the word "pure." Pure extract comes from actual orange peel oil. Some cheaper flavorings are built from synthesized compounds designed to mimic orange without any orange in them. I'd rather use less of the real thing than more of an imitation.
It cuts through the heavier spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves - so the bar doesn't taste like it's missing anything fresh.
